If you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes. Advanced plan users may also provide additional profile information.

Usage Data

We collect anonymous usage statistics to improve our services, including pages visited and features used. This data is aggregated and cannot identify individual users.

• Opt-Out Anytime: Every promotional email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click instantly removes you from our mailing list.
• Profile Settings: Manage your communication preferences in your account settings at any time.
• Essential Emails: Account security notifications (password changes, login alerts) cannot be disabled as they protect your account.

We respect your inbox and limit promotional emails to meaningful updates only. We never share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.

📤 Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for research or statistical purposes.

🤖 AI Features & How Your Data Is Used

AstroJB provides six AI-powered agents that deliver personalised Vedic astrology interpretations. This section explains exactly how your data interacts with these features.

What Data the AI Agents Access

AI agents work with astrological data derived from your birth details — specifically, calculated planetary positions, house placements, dasha periods, and yoga combinations. This computed astrological data (not your raw personal identifiers) is included in prompts sent to the AI language model when you invoke an AI feature.

• Planetary positions and house placements from your birth chart
• Active Vimshottari Dasha and Antardasha periods
• Yoga combinations identified in your chart
• Current planetary transits (live ephemeris data)
• Life events you voluntarily log in the Cosmic Timeline feature

The "Enable AI Interpretations" Checkbox

AI features are opt-in at AstroJB. You will find an "Enable AI Interpretations" checkbox in two places within your account:

• Profile Birth Details: Enabling AI on your Profile allows all AI agents to use your primary saved birth details (date, time, and place of birth) to generate personalised insights across all tools — including the AI Astrologer on the Kundali page and the full Cosmic Timeline agent suite.
• Saved Birth Details: Each saved birth detail in your dashboard has its own AI enable toggle. Turning it on for a specific record allows the Cosmic Timeline and associated AI agents to use that record's astrological data for analysis, hindsight interpretation, and narration.

When AI is not enabled, your saved birth data is used only for chart generation and calculations — no AI agent accesses it. You can toggle these settings at any time and changes take effect immediately.

Session-Only AI Usage (No Account)

If you use the AI Astrologer without a registered account, birth details entered in that session are used in real-time to generate your chart and to power AI responses for the duration of that browser session only. This data is not permanently stored on our servers and is discarded when your session ends.

AI Model & Data Transmission

AstroJB uses a third-party large language model (LLM) to power its AI agents. When you invoke an AI feature, a prompt containing your computed astrological data (as listed above) is sent to this LLM service over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We do not send your full name, email address, or raw location to the LLM. The LLM provider processes the prompt and returns a response — no data is permanently retained by the LLM provider beyond standard service operation logs.

Nature of AI Outputs

All AI-generated responses are based on classical Vedic astrology principles and are for entertainment and informational purposes only. They are not professional advice. Outputs may vary between sessions and should not be used as the sole basis for important life decisions.

🗑️ Data Retention & Deletion

Guest Users: All calculations performed without an account are processed in real-time and stored only in your browser's memory. No birth data or calculation results are saved on our servers.

Registered Users: You have full control over your data:

• Delete individual saved birth details at any time from your dashboard
• Update or modify your profile information whenever needed
• Request complete account deletion from your profile settings

Account Deletion Process

When you delete your account, we permanently remove all of your data from our systems with no traces left behind. This includes:

• Your account credentials (email, password)
• All saved Kundalis and astrological calculations
• Your profile information and preferences
• Subscription history and billing information
• Any consultation notes or client data (Advanced plan users)
• All usage history and activity logs

Important: Account deletion is immediate and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. We do not maintain any backups of deleted user accounts.

To delete your account, go to Profile Settings and click "Delete Account" in the Danger Zone section.

👶 Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
