By accessing or using AstroJB ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

📝 3. Description of Service

AstroJB provides Vedic astrology tools and content including but not limited to:

• Kundali (Birth Chart) generation and interpretation
• Panchang (Hindu almanac) calculations
• Daily, weekly, and monthly horoscopes
• Compatibility matching analysis
• Dasha period calculations
• Transit (Gochar) analysis
• Numerology calculations
• Dosha detection and remedy suggestions
• Muhurta (auspicious timing) guidance

👤 4. User Accounts

Registered users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

✅ 5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content without permission
• Use automated systems to access the Service excessively
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use our readings to scam or deceive others

All content, features, and functionality on AstroJB, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, calculations, interpretations, and software, are owned by AstroJB or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may use our services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Any commercial use requires prior written permission.

💳 7. Subscriptions and Payments

Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis as described at the time of purchase. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Refunds are handled according to our refund policy.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

🍪 11. Cookies & Session Management

AstroJB uses essential cookies and session management for the following purposes:

• Session Management: To maintain your logged-in state and preferences across pages
• Connected Experience: To preserve your birth details and chart data across our calculators
• Security: To protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks
• Authentication: To securely identify you when logged in

These are essential cookies strictly necessary for the Service to function. We do NOT use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies that track your behavior across other websites.

💾 12. Data Usage

When you use AstroJB, we collect and process certain data:

• Birth Details: Name, date, time, and place of birth are used for astrological calculations
• Session Data: Your recent calculations are temporarily stored to enable the connected experience across tools
• Saved Birth Details: Registered users can save birth details to the cloud for future access
• Account Information: Email and optional mobile number for account verification and notifications

Your birth details are used solely for generating astrological calculations and are not sold to third parties.

📬 13. Promotional Communications

By creating an account, you acknowledge that we may use your email and/or mobile number for:

• Account-related notifications (verification, password reset, security alerts)
• Service announcements about new features and updates
• Promotional content about AstroJB features and services (optional)
• Daily horoscope emails (optional, if you opt-in)

You can opt out of promotional and marketing communications at any time from your Profile Settings or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. Account-related notifications cannot be disabled for security reasons.

🤖 14. AI Features & Intelligent Interpretations

AstroJB provides six AI-powered agents that generate personalised astrological interpretations. By using these features, you agree to the following:

AI Agents Overview

• AI Astrologer: A conversational chatbot that analyses your birth chart data and responds to astrological queries in natural language.
• Birth Chart Narrator: Generates a cohesive narrative of your life themes, personality, and potential based on your planetary placements and yogas.
• AI Advisor: Provides timing guidance for specific decisions by evaluating your active dasha period and current planetary transits.
• Transit Alert Agent: Monitors live planetary transits against your natal chart and generates personalised cosmic event alerts.
• Compatibility Storyteller: Produces narrative relationship insights by analysing synastry between two birth charts beyond standard Ashtakoota scores.
• Learning Path Agent: Creates an adaptive astrology curriculum personalised to your birth chart for self-directed learning.

The "Enable AI Interpretations" Checkbox

On your Profile Settings page and on each Saved Birth Detail, you will find an "Enable AI Interpretations" checkbox. This opt-in control governs whether AI agents may access your permanently saved birth data to generate personalised insights. Specifically:

• When enabled on your Profile, AI agents use your primary birth details (name, date, time, place of birth) to generate fully personalised readings on tools such as the Kundali AI Astrologer and Cosmic Timeline.
• When enabled on a Saved Birth Detail, that record's data is made available to AI agents in the Cosmic Timeline feature for analysis, narration, and hindsight interpretation.
• Disabling the checkbox immediately revokes AI agents' access to that data. The AI will not use it until you re-enable the option.
• Without the AI enable flag, birth details entered in a single session (without saving) are still used by the AI Astrologer for that session only, and are not permanently stored.

Nature of AI-Generated Content

All AI-generated interpretations are produced by a large language model and are based on classical Vedic astrology principles. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI responses are for entertainment and informational purposes only — they do not constitute professional, medical, financial, or legal advice.
• AI outputs may vary between sessions and may contain inaccuracies or subjective interpretations.
• Astrological data derived from your birth details (planetary positions, house placements, dasha periods) is included in prompts sent to the AI model. Your raw identifying information (full name, personal location) is not transmitted to external AI services.
• AstroJB is not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated astrological content.
